Pantethine is a vitamin-like dietary supplement. It is related to vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). Pantethine is most commonly used for lowering levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in people with diabetes or high levels of lipoproteins in the blood (hyperlipoproteinemia).
