With Viper SmartStart, there is no such thing as “too far away.” Viper SmartStart works over a cellular network or over Wi-Fi, giving you virtually unlimited range anywhere in the U.S. As long as your vehicle is in range of a cellular signal and your phone has a 3G or Wi-Fi signal, SmartStart will work.

Can I upgrade my Viper remote?
The remotes feature a sleek, modern design tailored to consumer preferences. Viper one-way remote start and security systems 412V, 3105V and 5105V can be upgraded to the Viper 7146V one-way, four-button remote. All systems are now shipping with these new remotes.
Can I start my car with my phone?

How do I know what remote starter I have?

How do I know what kind of alarm my car has?
The easiest is to look at the remote. The maker’s name will be engraved or stamped into the plastic of the remote. If this is somehow worn away or missing, look under the hood at the siren attached to the system. The maker’s name will be emblazoned on it very conspicuously.
What is the AUX button on Viper remote?
