A Director of Skyline Enterprises since 1994, Grant specialises in the management of Skyline’s Luge track development and design. Grant is the son of company founder Hylton Hensman, and he has spent most of his life involved with the company working in various roles for Queenstown, Rotorua and international operations.

How do you use a luge?
It’s really simple to use, release the handlebars slightly to accelerate and pull back on the handlebars to brake. Our Luge instructors will give you a full briefing on how to Luge before your first ride. Keep it under control. Remain in control of your speed and direction.
Can I purchase extra luge rides from the gondola?
Yes, you can purchase extra Luge rides from the top of the Gondola. Are there any age restrictions for the Luge? Children must be at least 6 years old and 110cm or taller to be allowed to ride the Blue Track unaccompanied. Children must be 135cm or taller to be allowed to ride the Red Track unaccompanied.
